His family are farmers. The bamboo shoots he uses in his spear are cultivated in his family farms and he changes them for each new mission.[1]

Stinger joined the Hero Association only half a year ago, but quickly rose to A-Class.[1]

When the Seafolk show up in J-City, they start attacking people. One citizen is in the grasp of one of the monsters when the monsters' arm gets cut off. Stinger then makes his entrance, challenging the Mysterious Being's to a fight.[2]

Later, he is shown on a news report to be fighting a desperate battle, having killed at least one, he has exhausted most of his stamina. After a tough battle he manages to defeat all of them. Just as he is celebrating he is attacked by the Deep Sea King, who easily defeats him.[3] He was later hospitalized alongside Lightning Max. While reading the newspaper about the incident and the hero who took their credit, Puri-Puri-Prisoner appears, much to their horror, and is about to give them both his special medicine, but Lightning Max and Stinger manage to run away with fear.[4] At some point after this, he received a promotion to rank 10.

Alien Conquerors ArcEdit

Stinger along with Lightning Max head to Hero Association Headquarters at A-City to help out with the rescuing operation with Mumen Rider, even asking to borrow a vehicle.[5]

Stinger is one of heroes seen fighting against monsters, when Suiryu is calling for help.[6]

Elder Centipede emerges

Stinger is seen as part of an ambush lead by Death Gatling to attack Garou.[7] After Garou manages to defeat several heroes using their own attacks and weapons against them, Garou challenges Stinger one on one to which Stinger gladly accepts. Stinger tells Smile Man and Death Gatling not to interfere.

While Garou was fighting Glasses, Stinger rushes at Garou only for him to be plummeted to the point of unconsciousness. He is later saved from Elder Centipede's rampage by Bomb.[8]

Bang and Bomb are in an operation to bait out Garou. Their mark was Stinger and he is briefly seen as a potential target for Garou's hero hunt. Garou hunts down Death Gatling causing Bang and Bomb to chase him down. It would have taken 20 minutes to reach there by car or 5 minutes by running.
