"The Power of Boros" (ボロスの本領, Borosu no Honryō, Tonari: 46 + 47) is the 36th chapter of the One-Punch Man manga series.

Summary[]

Version 1[]

Boros enters Meteoric Burst form to gain a massive upper hand against Saitama, as he punches Saitama through his ship. He goes on to explain how Meteoric Burst is a trump card to use to finish a fight quickly, as Saitama has forced him to go all out. He takes the piece that broke off and throws straight at Saitama.

Version 2 Part 1[]

Boros seemingly believes that Saitama took damage from his attack. He boastfully explains to Saitama about his regenerative capabilities, remarking on how eventually Saitama will get tired and lose. Saitama simply tells him to shut up, asking him if Boros was done with the fight, only to have Boros get mad and unleash his Meteoric Burst on attack Saitama. Due to his powerful kick, Saitama was blown away towards the moon.

Version 2 Part 2[]

Saitama realizes that Boros is giving his all, so he decides to take the match a little more seriously. Saitama jumps back to the ship from the moon and, due to the powerful impact, the ship takes significant damage although it stays levitating. Seeing Saitama's return, Boros charges at him with a barrage of attacks, though unable to deal any damage to the hero who retaliates against him with a punch that pushes him back before immediately following with his Consecutive Normal Punches, tearing the alien apart. Instantly regenerating from the damage, as a last resort, Boros unleashes his powerful trump card, Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, a mighty energy blast, an attempt to eliminate Saitama along with wiping out the surface of the planet. With the powerful blast coming toward him, Saitama decides to use one of his Serious Series moves, Serious Punch, countering Boros's final attack dealing a fatal blow to him and ending their battle.

As Boros is still conscious, Saitama states that the alien is really strong. Though, while slowly dying, Lord Boros realizes Saitama was not going all out, stating that he is way too powerful. Saitama then leaves the scene as Boros finally meets his end.
